What is PopCulture?
Pop is to be understood in its literal sense as a popular culture that is not limited to music. Painting, literature, photography, performing arts, design, fashion, comics, etc. are also included.
"The freedom of thought, action and development, the idea of equal opportunities in an increasingly technological environment of growth - that was the sense of the times in pop culture".
Until the early 80s, pop culture was still a counter-movement for self-determination, noticeable in fashion, art, design and music.

The role of music in PopCulture
The development of pop music is closely linked to social and political changes. In each era, music has taken up important themes such as freedom, rebellion, love, political discontent or social justice. PopCulture and music influence each other and shape the identities of entire generations.
